PM: Russia’s development institutes need deep reforms
MOSCOW, Apr 26 (PRIME) – Russian development institutes require serious reforms, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting with the Economic Development Ministry on Tuesday.
“In general, I want to say that activities of the development institutes need serious renovation. We need to see who did what throughout all these years, what the results are, what mechanisms work and what do not and why; to make a clear distinction between the powers, the responsibilities, to make the system of development institutes more compact and more effective,” Medvedev said.
He separately said that Russian authorities need to put much effort into cementing positive changes in the economy in order to stop stagnation.
